It seems that around here there´s a lot of useful information for Europpen users of Sanyo Z2 and PAL material ...so please help me on the following ...
and if possible summarize the most important info that exists in other threads .

My questions are :

1) Are there any general problems for Pal material ?

1) Are there any problems with DVI output 720p and 50Hz ?
( with a dvdplayer , not HTPC )

3) I have a Yamakawa dvdplayer with a DVI output . Has anyone try this one ?

4)Is it better to use 576p output or 720p 50Hz output ?

Im not an Z2 owner, but i considered one when buying resently so i spend tons of hours reading around the web, and it seams that a lot of users is having problems with jitter when feeding it its native resolution because it only accepts 60Hz. As far as i remember it accepts 50Hz at 576p, so maybe it would be an better idea, even though it would be using the internal scalar

Firmware release 1.04 fixed the bug with 50hz and 720p. Sanyo will update your Z2 to the newest version without charge.

According to avsforum there is still jitter with 50hz and 720p, even with firmware 1.06. It was reported that 1.06 should have fixed the problem, but it has now been testet and shows that it is still a problem. So I guess no fix yet.
