Som andre af jer har jeg i dag modtaget nyhedsbrev fra Dynaudio. Her omtales den nye serie "Focus" fra Dynaudio:

Scheduled for August release, there are four models of the new "Dynaudio Focus" range available. Following Dynaudio's tradition of high quality, high performance audiophile grade loudspeakers, the range is comprised of two compact speakers, the Focus 110 and Focus 140 monitors, while the floor standing Focus 220 rests atop the line.

Completing the series is a matching center channel, the Focus 200 C, which enables the installation of perfectly balanced high-end multi channel systems. The new Focus range is technically based on a completely new driver-technology: the Esotec+.
The cabinets are finished on all surfaces, with a choice of four different real wood veneers available: maple, cherry, rosewood and black ash. The cabinet features a gentle taper towards the back for acoustical benefits of non-parallel sidewalls while achieving an amazing degree of rigidity.

As of August 1st comprehensive product-descriptions and technical details will be available on our website. The loudspeakers themselves are scheduled to appear in dealer showrooms after the second week of August.
That's a good reason to schedule a visit to your Dynaudio dealer once again, as the Focus promises to offer both incredible performance and tremendous value. We wish you an exciting and entertaining time experiencing and feeling music while listening to the Focus.

Der er vedlagt billeder af modellerne, og det kunne umiddelbart godt ligne Audience-serien, men uden den grå frontbaffel og der er finer hele vejen rundt i stedet. Ganske nydelig, synes jeg. Endelig er der på nyhedsbrevets vedhæftede billede en tilhørende Sub, der ikke nævnes noget om i materialet, men den ligner deres Sub 300.

Er der nogen, som ved, hvordan focus-serien kommer til at placere sig rent prismæssigt ift. de øvrige højttalerserier fra Dynaudio? Er Focus et supplement eller en afløser?
