I have at home System Audio SA 1250 and I'm thinking of selling the speakers and buy SA 1280 MK 2 for 5400DKK. Are 1280 MK 2 model better speaker or you would maybe recommend some other SA speaker for that price. What kind are SA speakers from the new series?(I think SA 1280 MK 2 looks better than the new line). So I need suggestion from you guys that know SA speakers. I need answer fast because we will soon get an SA dealer here and I won't be able to sell my speakers for a good price.

Well, on a 1-day listening spree I found that the SA1280mkII is superior to both the sa1730 and sa1530. The SA1280mkII has a much richer, or fuller if you wish, sound than the two newer ones. The 1730 and 1530 has an extremely slender sound which I don't like.

I compared the 1280mkII with audiovector k3 and k3 super too, and found the SA superior to the k3, but not the k3 super. The sound from the k3 super is more slender than the 1280mkII, but not as slender as 1530 and 1730, but the treble response is awesome in comparison - which is why I ended up with the k3 su

In my ears (and eyes) the 1280 mkII is a great bargain. Especially if your room is below 30 m2. If you decide for them, do yourself a favour and experiment with positioning. It´s very essential especially when it comes to the bass. I think you get a lot of the charms from my SA favourite...the 2K.

The other models you mention, I must admit I don´t know well enough to pass judgement!
