Hello, I am from Austria and don't speak/read danish.

I just wantet to know why Coral Speakers were so popular in Denmark. Are there still dealers in Denmark with new Coral Speakers? I am looking for one H-104. It would be nice if you answer in english (I know that Scandinavians speak much better english than Austrians  ). I am also looking for scans of Coral brochures, data sheets,....

Audio Scan had import at that time. No dealers today and Coral do not excist anymore as far as I know. The Coral M100 is very very good, sweet, clean, smooth sounding unit, a bit coloured but less than JBL and similar. Among the best driver I've heard so far match on the right horn and gear. Do you have the email of Audio Scan? Perhaps they have still some Units or other information.

Audio Scan does not exist anymore. But you could try www.dba.dk

This is a Danish market for used equipment of all kinds.

Right now there are only adds from buyers.

 

 

Hi 'Coral'! Have you tried doing a Google search? I've run into sites with info on Coral several times, but I haven't got the URL's - but they are out there. The brand was popular, because at the time, it offered a very reasonable priced alternative to expensive things like JBL. The H-104 was a nice, hornloaded tweeter, as I recall.

I did so many google searches. I also know some Coral sites, like

but I thought I should register to a danish board as mostley of the Coral sellers at ebay are from Denmark. I also have some Coral speakers and Coral brochures.

Some of the japanese developer's have joined the taiwanese company ZOMAX!

In fact it is easy to see the CORAL quality in many of their Audio + Profesonal drivers from ZOMAX.

Unfortunately i can't find their homepage either
Here in Denmark the name is ZOMAX and some of their products are also sold in other names (OEM) as MONACOR and IMG. (www.monacor.de)
I wonder if the manufactor has another name? It should be the larges audio speaker company in Taiwan... On the speaker cases there is written ZACL.

Yes it is PROZOMAX (named only ZOMAX in DK).

The other one is a chinese company - has nothing to do with ZOMAX in Taiwan.
