Connections to an external pre-amplifier, power

amplifier or processor, such as a surround-sound

decoder. In normal use these should be connected

together using the links supplied. To connect your

NAD 317 to external processor or amplifier sections

first remove these links. Use a twin RCA-to-RCA lead

to connect to the left and right ‘Audio Input’ of the

Power amp or processor to the Pre Out connectors.

Connect the left and right ‘Audio Output’ of the Preamp

or processor to the Main In connectors.

Note: The Pre-Out output signal will be affected by

the NAD 317’s volume and tone control settings.
