Dear all,

Once again a question from Belgium because I'm so alone with my Thule upgrade-itis 

I have a thule IA 150B and would like to add a PA 150 B because there is a recent pricedrop and I can have it for less than 800 euros. My main speakers are the kef reference two floorstanders which are biwirable-bi-ampable

Are there people who are using this combination?

Would you recommend this upgrade?

Can't you borrow it for at few days and then have a listen in your own house? I know many peo0ple do that here in Denmark

Well, that's part of the problem. Since Thule isn't the most popular brand in Belgium it's hard to get their more specialised electronics in demo.

Unless you want to play really loud, I wouldn't recommend the upgrade. I tried biamping a pair of Dali 850 with 1200 W pr. speaker, but didn't find much improvement sonically.

If you have problems with distorition from the amplifier due to to much load, of course it will help. But one amplier doesn't sound better than two automatically. They just have more power combined. Usually though, you don't need that much power.

I've tried to compare a 25 W amplifier with a 250 W. If you don't overload either, it's almost impossible to tell which is which.
